What Is A Voice Alert System?

Voice alert systems work by setting up a particular area as a zone, and when that zone is breached, there is then a signal which is sent up to 1000ft. typically, to the remote base unit, therefore alerting the owner of the home that there is a problem, most likely that of an unauthorized presence. These devices allow for voice-recorded messages to identify any sort of activity for up to six monitored devices, and once any movement is detected, there are several things that will happen, which are as follows:
  • First, a radio signal is sent from the PIR to the remote base unit
  • Then a custom message, one which you or someone you requested to do so IS recorded. This gives details of that specific zone and is played on the base unit.
  • After this, one of the four "C" relays attached to the base unit can then be optionally triggered for any additional functions like giving a warning to the intruder.
These devices can typically be installed both indoors and outdoors with no problems, as they are generally designed to be able to withstand all sorts of weather, including rain and snow. The sensor in this device works by using its built-in passive infrared receiver that can detect movement due to any occurring changes in temperature. This is followed up by transmitting a radio signal to the involved monitoring base receiver or speaker that movement has been detected. Most of these types of systems are designed to be able to function through any interior and exterior walls of a home, although they do often have difficulties with being able to transmit signals through such components as aluminum siding or metal surfaces.

The basic features of a typical receiver or speaker for this sort of system include such things as: volume control knob which allows you to set the message volume that you prefer, message playback which allows you to change the voice messages quickly and easily, missed message indicator which alerts you of any activity that occurred during any of your absences, low battery indicator and message indicators which notify you when any of your sensors have a low battery, solid-state construction, and more.

Installing A Voice Alert System

To install a voice alert alarm, all you have to do is mount the PIR wherever it is that you need zone control, and then plug in the base unit and record a voice message to properly identify each particular zone. The basic features of a voice alert alarm includes: an on and off switch, audio line output connection, adjustable volume control, missed message indicator, missed message playback, one button message check control, and a low battery voice notification.

Whether you're looking to buy one of the many available voice alert systems, system integrator voice alert, or some other related type of item, take sufficient time to choose your voice alert automated tool and give careful consideration to voice alert wireless announcement system and other various options. • Solid cables are used for the wiring of fire protective signaling circuits, and they are optimum for use in regards to all power limited circuits except for that of those in risers and plenums.
  • Battery is obviously extremely important, and ELK Sealed Lead Acid Batteries are perhaps the most excellent of all for the following applications with regard to size, Amp hour rating, and proper terminal connections. Battery backup is essential for Access Control Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, and Security Alarm Systems, emergency lights, lighted exit signs, and uninterruptible power supplies.
The accessories of a security system such as a voice alert or fire alarm system are often times just as important and essential as the actual system itself, and you can usually find all of the required accessories at the same location where you found your system.
